I never had much luck on eHarmony, had way more luck on Match and eventually OkCupid.
Match was cheaper and had more people on it for free, and then OkCupid was free and that's where young people were. Mind you $20 for an online service back then was pretty pricey. $20/mo+ for eHarmony back in like 2007/2008, so yeah, it was always expensive.
